Vietnam – Unsatisfactory pay and lack of career path are top reasons why employees quit their jobs (Vn Express)

Nearly half, or 47%, of companies in Vietnam say their employees quit because of unsatisfactory salaries, reports Vn Express, citing survey data from Talentnet and Mercer. The same percentage (47%) say a lack of a clear career path and opportunity to grow is why employees quit their jobs. Another top reason is an unpleasant relationships with peers (29%). The survey, which polled 118 companies in Vietnam, also forecasted an average base salary increase of 8.8% across the board this year, the highest rate in the last three years.
