Japan – Hito Communications full year revenue rises slightly

Japanese human resources provider Hito Communications (4433: JP) reported revenue for the full year ending 31 August 2019 of JPY 63.80 billion (USD 594.0 million).

The group did not provide prior year results for comparison. However, Hito’s full year results for 2018 can be found here suggesting a slight lift in revenue from JPY 63.32 billion (USD 563.8 million) to JPY 63.80 billion. (USD 594.0 million). Operating income and net income were also up.

The company offers temporary staffing, business recruitment and outsourcing, business sales promotion, outsourced sales support, and employee training outsourcing services, as well as recruitment services for individual users in distribution and service sectors.

In June 2019, the group announced that it acquired Japan-based Triangle, a tour operator.

Looking ahead the company forecasted revenue of JPY 72 billion (USD 670.42 million) for the full year ended August 2020.

In trading today Hito Communications Holdings closed at JPY 1,781.00 (USD 16.58), -18.71% below its 52-week high of JPY 2,191.00 (USD 20.40), set on 8 April 2019. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of JPY 32.24 billion (USD 300.15 million).
