Germany – Glassdoor launches localised website and mobile app

15 January 2015

Online career community Glassdoor has officially launched in Germany with a new, localised website, and mobile apps on iOS and Android. In addition to Glassdoor.com, the company website and mobile apps are now localised in Germany, France, the UK, Canada, Australia, and India.

The German platform provides local jobseekers with more than 500,000 job listings and employee insights; including company reviews, ratings, and salary reports of 6,500 employers in Germany.

Robert Hohman, CEO & co-founder of Glassdoor, commented: "The value of Glassdoor for jobseekers and employers is recognised around the world; we've already attracted members and content from more than 190 countries, including Germany. Localising this information and being able to offer local jobs allows Glassdoor to become an even richer and more relevant experience.”

"Our mission is to help people everywhere find a job and company they love, and we plan to continue our global expansion with more local sites in 2015 and beyond," he added.

The German launch follows the October 2014 debut of a website and mobile apps for the French market. The company opened its first European office in London in April 2014 to support the company's international expansion.
