Kelly Services’ Talent Solutions leader Teresa Carroll to step down

August 13, 2019

Kelly Services Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA) announced that Executive VP Teresa Carroll will resign effective Sept. 30, according to a filing today with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Carroll also serves as president of Global Talent Solutions at the company, managing a $2 billion P&L. In addition, she serves as general manager of sales, marketing and human resources. Carroll has been at the company for some 27 years and was an industrial engineer at General Motors before joining Kelly.

In addition, Carroll has appeared on the Staffing Industry Analysts’ Staffing 100 list of most influential people in the industry and on the Global Power 150 list of women in staffing.

“Teresa and I joined Kelly around the same time 27 years ago, and it has been a pleasure to work side-by-side with her, to learn, and to develop our careers together. I have witnessed first-hand her tremendous accomplishments at Kelly, and more broadly, in our industry,” President and CEO George Corona wrote in an internal announcement at Kelly Services.

“Teresa is a provocative thought leader capable of reading the marketplace and anticipating trends. These skills enabled her to rise through the ranks at Kelly, assuming multiple senior-level roles with increasing responsibility,” Corona wrote. “Given her ability to anticipate what’s next and conceive disruptive ideas, she has developed and deployed some of Kelly’s highest performing products and solutions, resulting in consistent double-digit growth.”

The announcement said Carroll felt it was time to explore what is next for her life and career.

Carroll’s last day, Sept. 30, is also the last day for Corona, who will be stepping down to let Peter Quigley take over the reins of the company as president and CEO.
